Synopsis
For years, Mahrie Corbu thought she would be bad at capoeira her whole life.
Yet she never stopped practicing. Over the years, capoeira took on an increasingly important place in her life, eventually leading her, almost by chance, into competition. In January 2025, she became a capoeira world champion in Brazil.
PASSION IS ALWAYS RIGHT traces this journey through passion, perseverance, doubt, and confidence. Through her words, her practice, and the people who support her, the film explores how a passion can grow over time, transform us, and take us much further than we ever imagined.
